KoshDocs

A plan tracker for the whole Household

Every money action, on its date.

Kosh keeps one shared plan for your Household. It reminds each Member about every Occurrence on the correct date, shows progress against the plan, and warns when a Hard rule breaks.

In development for iPhone. Every number on this page is illustrative.

Plan Items and Occurrences

Reminded on the correct date.

You type each money action once, as a Plan Item: an EMI, a SIP, a PPF deposit, a premium. Kosh turns its schedule into dated Occurrences. Every Member with notifications on gets a notification on the due date.

  • One schedule, every date. Set a Plan Item monthly, yearly or for one date. Kosh makes each Occurrence for you.
  • A lead time for pay-before items. An SWP must land before the EMI. Give it a lead time of 2 days and its notification comes early.
  • Your phone, your mute. Mute one Plan Item on your own phone. The rest of the Household still gets it.

Family view

One Household. Every Holding.

A Holding is one thing a Member owns or owes: a mutual fund folio, PPF, a home loan. The Family view adds up every Member’s Holdings and Plan Items in one screen. Every Member sees all of it and can edit all of it.

  • Net worth over time. Each Holding keeps a Snapshot for every date you add one. Snapshots draw the history.
  • Loans count against it. A home loan is a Holding too. The Family view subtracts it from the total.
  • Imports never keep the file. An Import reads a statement file on the server. Kosh stores neither the file nor its password.

Hard rules and Insights

Warned when a Hard rule breaks.

A Hard rule is a limit the plan must never break, such as LTCG per FY. Kosh checks it and warns when a value crosses it. An Insight is one short statement from your own Plan Items, Hard rules and Holdings: one number and one action.

Hard rule · LTCG this FY

₹1,04,000 of ₹1,25,000 limit

What-if · Pause SWP

Runway

4 months was 11

Without the ₹30,000 SWP, savings pay the full EMI. Liquid Holdings last 4 months.

Insight

Pausing SWP cuts Runway to 4 months. Keep SWP.
Computed from your Plan Items. You decide, and you type every Plan Item yourself.
